What are your opening hours?

We are open 364 days a year from 07:00 am to 11:30 pm, and on Fridays and Saturdays until 12:30 am. The only exception is the 365th day of the year – that day belongs entirely to our team.

What is the difference between the ground floor and the first floor?

Both floors offer the welcoming BARRYS atmosphere. The menus differ slightly: upstairs, you will also find larger dishes and classics such as Napf, Eiger Rock and Fondue Chinoise.

Are dogs allowed in the restaurant?

Yes, dogs are very welcome at BARRYS.

Until what time is hot food served?

Our full menu is available until 9:30 pm. Afterwards, we offer a selection from our snack menu until 11:00 pm.

Is breakfast available for external guests?

Yes, breakfast is also available to external guests. Choose between our Hurtig, Vital and Geniesser options, or enjoy a special break with our Brunch & Spa.

Do you offer takeaway?

No, we currently do not offer takeaway.

Can I reserve a table on the terrace?

Our terrace tables are generally first come, first served and cannot be reserved. During summer, however, we offer three balconies with one table for two people each, which can be reserved.

Do I need a reservation?

A reservation is not essential, but we strongly recommend making one during high season and on weekends. During these periods, we offer two seatings. If you have reserved a table for the first seating, we kindly ask you to release the table after 2 hours. If you would like to stay longer, we recommend making a reservation from 8:30 pm onwards.

What type of cuisine does BARRYS offer?

Our cuisine combines traditional Swiss cuisine with modern trends and surprising interpretations.

Do you offer vegetarian or vegan options?

Yes, we offer both vegetarian and vegan dishes.

Can allergies or food intolerances be accommodated?

Yes, we can accommodate allergies and food intolerances. Please inform us when making your reservation or before ordering, so that we can prepare accordingly.

Are children welcome at BARRYS?

Of course! Children are very welcome. We do not have a separate children’s menu, but every dish is available as a smaller portion for CHF 15. A small portion of Fondue Chinoise costs CHF 25. We also offer a free “Räuberteller” – an empty plate for little ones to share from the grown-ups’ meals.

Can I host private events, team events or group celebrations?

Absolutely! We can accommodate events and groups of up to 100 people. For a set menu for groups of 10 or more, we offer a 10% discount. For enquiries, please contact us at info@barrysrestaurant.ch.

Do you offer a daily menu?

Yes, we offer a 3-course daily menu for CHF 28. It includes a salad or soup, a main course and a small dessert. Available while stocks last!

We’re here for you 364 days a week from 7 am to 11.30 pm and until 0.30 am on Friday / Saturday. The threehundred and sixtyfifth day is the day which solely belongs to our employees.

Barrys Lounge will remain open throughout. Barrys Restaurant on the 1st floor will be closed from 11 October to 16 December 2026 due to refurbishment of the main kitchen. A “Cheese Pop-up” in Barrys Stübli will be open from 16 October to 13 December 2026 (closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays).

On Wednesday, October 14 and November 11, 2026, the entire Barrys Restaurant will be closed due to renovation work.
